Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Clean room with comfortable beds inside Alishan national forest recreation area. They offer sunrise, sunset and stargazing tours. They dropped us off at the bus station after checkout.

Negative: Noise insulation wasn't great especially as our room was facing the car park. The bathroom gets very wet due to the open shower but wasn't a major concern. The free breakfast on our sunrise tour wasn't the best but they do have a 7/11 there which was great.

Summary: A good base to explore Alishan.
