Positive: First, the house. It is compact and very cozy. The first floor is composed of the sitting room, toilet and a well-equipped kitchen (a washing machine with drying function, a normal size fridge instead of the super small one you find in a hotel; cooker and everything you need to prepare for a decent dinner). The second floor is the sleeping room with three queen size beds. The house is newly renovated and all the utensils are of very good quality and taste. It even comes with a smart TV and a Nintendo Switch!! Next, the location. You can reach Ikebukuro station (where you find everything you want) in less than 15 minutes on foot. Just a single straight big road which is chill to walk. The neighbour is quiet, clean, and most importantly, very safe. There are convenient shops and supermarket close by. Last, the host. Communication is very smooth. Originally we planned to stay for 2 nights and go to Ibaraki. But due to tsunami warning we have to cancel our trip so we decided to stay for two more nights. And the host is very responsive and helpful in arranging it for us. We are very lucky to have stayed in this very nice house. This is one of the best apartments I have stayed in Tokyo (especially given such price!). I will definitely come back next time when I go to Tokyo.
