Summary: If you want something boutique and intimate away from the usual Hakone tourist crowds, this is the place! The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with amazing views. While there was no shower in our room, we basically had the small onsen areas to ourselves (men & women separate but fully nude only) or only a few other people. It's peaceful and has a homey feel with unique decor touches that we loved. From the bookshelves and records in the chill lounge area to in-room tea set with tasty green tea, it's a perfect place if you don't want the usual "formal hotel" vibe.
