3 Bedroom Apartment in Molinell, Oliva
This poolside and garden apartment, with 3 bright double bedrooms (sleeping 6) is located in a prestigious 5* beach complex- Oliva Nova Golf.
There is something for everyone here: a fabulous 10km sandy beach; a beautiful big pool with a separate pool for children; restaurants; shops and bars all within walking distance. We get our coffee, pastries and fresh bread from the local shop each morning!
The 18 hole Seve Ballesteros designed golf course is only a 300m walk from the door and if you don't fancy playing golf, the golf club serves excellent food on the terrace with beautiful views.
The Oliva Nova hotel, a short drive or walk from our apartment, has bars and restaurants and a fantastic spa if you decide to treat yourself to some pampering. You can also buy short term memberships to the fully equipped gym used by some of the world's top footballers who train there.
There is also a world class equestrian centre minutes from our door.
Yet we're in a lovely peaceful little spot.
The apartment is in a gated complex made up of 11 villas. There is our section which overlooks the pool and gardens, and a section alongside overlooking gardens. We overlook the pool. The apartment is bright and airy, and spotlessly clean with pretty gardens where we like to cook and eat at night. The large shared pool with children's pool is literally steps from the door. We think our villa is in one of the best spots on the whole site and as a relatively small number of these apartments are rented out, we have always found it peaceful - even by the pool in the middle of summer!
The villa is only 800m from the stunning wide sandy beach which stretches for 10km and is dotted with some great beach bars in the warmer months. You can walk there and there is also parking if you prefer to drive instead. You can hire paddle boards and also learn to kite surf.
Nearby are shops (including beach supplies and Carrefour), several restaurants and local bars - all of which are very family friendly and just a few minutes walk away. A number of great new restaurants have opened here in the last few years and there are a couple of very good little takeaways serving paella and pizza. The local bar and restaurant 'Sargantana', with multi-lingual owners, is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike.
The World famous Mediterranean Equestrian Tour also takes place annually in the Equestrian Centre... moments from our door.
The 3 bedrooms include: The master bedroom, with en suite marble tiled shower room, overlooking the pool which is lit up at night; a twin bedroom with pool and garden view; another twin bedroom with a view over the front garden and the mountains and a shared family bathroom (bathrooms were brand new for 2023). The two twin rooms and bathroom have a door which closes them off from the rest of the apartment for additional privacy.
We supply towels and linen.
Facilities include free WIFI, TV (with Netflix and Amazon Prime), air conditioning, ceiling fans in each bedroom, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine.
There is garden furniture including a table and chairs, loungers and a BBQ and we have a big cool bag to take picnics to the beach.
Parking spaces are directly outside the front gates.
The apartment is about an hour drive from Valencia and Alicante airports. Whilst Valencia is a slightly shorter distance and preferred by many, we usually go to Alicante as we prefer the drive. Either way there is plenty of choice.
Bookings in July and August should ideally be from Saturday to Saturday, but please contact me to see if we can make an exception.
